A new update V 1.16 for our cableScout mobile version is available from today! This update comes with over 50 new features, enhancements and improvements that make working with fibre optic data in the field even more efficient and smoother. The following highlights have been implemented:
**Enhanced security features**: in addition to network areas, data validity and forced updates can now be set for each user.
**New map material**: map material from the well-known GIS manufacturer ESRI has now been integrated.
**Optimised loading performance**: large distribution cabinets, including components and connections, are now loaded and displayed much faster.
**Improved display**: signal curves are loaded faster from end to end and displayed more clearly.
**Compression**: new compression algorithm to make network data even more performant for offline use.
The update is available for download on the three stores of iOS, Android and Windows.
