A major German network operator has put our fibre-optic monitoring software cSmonitoring through its paces together with the OTDRs of our technology partner ADVA and found them to be good. In future, the system will permanently monitor important fibre optic connections and report faults immediately to the relevant technicians. This solution will save the network operator several hours each time a fault occurs, thus avoiding annoyed customers or contractual penalties due to exceeded SLAs.
