The ebs TeleNet operate a fiber network in the communities of Schwyz, Lauerz, Morschach, Muotathal and Steinen and provide telecommunications services for around 6500 households and businesses. Additionally the fiber network is used to control hydropower plants, energy networks and for internal communication. In order to cope with the document and administration this challenging network the company has decided to use cableScout. It is also decided to step by step replace the existing HFC network with a modern FTTH infrastructure for which cableScout will be used for designing and planning purposes.
